16th October – weather update, still raining

Not entirely unexpected, the rain returned this morning – but a least the flood levels have dropped.

But the rain relented and we caught the bus to the beach.

The beach was covered with flotsam & jetsam from the last days storm but sandy nonetheless. The roads were no longer flooded and things were returning to normal,
