Long Days Flying

So LHR to DEL was fine, as suspected our baggage was not checked through to Amritsar so had to do the whole e-visa / biometrics at Delhi before picking up our bags and then going through Domestic Transfers – who knew?

Short flight from Delhi to Amritsar, bags turned up and then we were collected and transferred to our new home for the next 2 nights. Managed a few hours sleep on the BA flight but we went out to see the Palki evening ceremony at the Golden Temple after ‘resting’ in our room. The evening meal at the hotel was fine – just avoiding alcohol out of respect for the temple. Wait until tomorrow night – that bar will take some stick!
