Day 1 of the Test

So managed to find a way of watching the cricket in our room. The owner of the TV rights doesn’t make it easy but a combination of VPN back to the UK and a months worth of BT Sport does the job. Sadly they are enforcing DCMA so we can’t put it on the big screen!

Tomorrows journey to NZ has had a new twist, after we arrive just after 01:00AM we now have a room booked at the airport Novotel and then a flight from Auckland to Tauranga at 10:00AM, so we should be at our new hotel well before the coach leaves for the ground at 13:00 on day 3.

This all depends on Quantas letting us fly & NZ letting us in, so no promises.
