Start of the journey home

All journeys start with a single step…well this one starts with 323 steps to breakfast – which was as good as ever – followed by a loiter on the beach for an hour or so. Practiced travellers as we now are it didn’t take long to pack our bags and make the 12 noon checkout with ease.

Confirmed our cab pickup for 16:45 and then back to the beach for a beer.

Then lunch by the pool and a chance to spend some of our Thai Bhats. The cab journey was definitely less eventful than the the one out to the resort. No issues checking in – the plane was 30 minutes late on the inbound leg so we were late to Bangkok. Walked through the long and tedious underground passage to the hotel (past the first capsule hotel I’ve ever seen in real life). In our room at 10:00PM.
