The Internet is Phuket

So cries of anguish across the resort as the WiFi was down – can’t download todays Guardian.. By 08:00 however the status quo was restored and we can go to breakfast fully alerted to the latest insanity from home.

So morning taking it easy on the sands as we knew the weather forecast was for extensive rain by 14:00 – not wrong as it happens. Tried some Longan (Lam Yai) berries which were similar to lychees – but not the same

After the rain down to the pool area for ’free’ afternoon tea and to see if the sunset would oblige – sadly not this time although the romantic dinner looked quite fun. Back to our place to monitor the England game in Perth whilst trying out the italian restaurant.
