If its Thursday it must be Hue…

Breakfast and then off looking at the sights. Did the mausoleum of Tu Duc and then the Citadel. Rain held off for most of the time. The Citadel had a rather improbable red flag flying from the tallest flagpole in Vietnam – no breeze yet still it flew…..

Then back to Hue to do a bit of strolling around the shops etc. Another gift purchased which will take some explaining I fear.

Dined in one of the (if not the) best restaurant so far , a French / Vietnamese outfit only 7 minutes from our hotel. Bistro La Carambole is part of the same outfit as the highly recommended Les Jardins de la Carambole.
